Hebrews 11:16-18

¹⁶ But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a ^(A)heavenly one. Therefore ^(B)God is not ^[a]ashamed to be ^(C)called their God; for ^(D)He has prepared a city for them.

¹⁷ By faith ^(E)Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had ^(F)received the promises was offering up his only begotten son; ¹⁸ it was he to whom it was said, “^(G)In Isaac your ^[b]descendants shall be called.”
